I recently added my front and backdoor locks to HE. When I go into the devices section or using the favorites and choose to unlock either of the locks I get an alert that comes up asking me if I am sure. If I click yes it unlocks and if I click no then it of course it doesn't. It is like a wrong touch prevention type alert. Is there anyway to disable this either through the HE app or through Android somehow?
I am using a Google Pixel 8 running Android 15. There was a recent update on Android and I don't recall it doing it before that update but the addition of the locks and the update happened so close together I can't be certain.
That's just a anti-butt-dial sort of precuation to help make sure locks (and similar devices like garage doors) aren't opened/unlocked accidentally. I'm not aware of any readily available / easy way to remove it.
It's not a feature unique to Android or anything like that.
You could try mapping the lock to a virtual switch or some other vitrual device that doesn't have that confirmation, and use that on your dashboard.

Thank you. That is how it appeared to me as well. Crazy thing is if you go to the tile and instead of opening the tile and then clicking to unlock if you just simply touch the little symbol in the upper left corner it will unlock without the alert. I assume that it is assumed the likelihood of hitting that smaller spot accidentally is very small.
If I don't get used to this I will try you suggestion. Much appreciated.
