Andersen French doors and Automatic locking

Hi My house does not have a traditional front door but rather has Andersen French Doors (400 series installed around 2003). They are all in great shape and have this locking mechanism built into the door. I have keys but we hate using them and there is no way that I can seem to find to automate unlocking and locking. The only solution I have came up with is to just leave the door unlocked and have a doorbell camera and very soon an Aqara door sensor to monitor entry. The door sensor will help distinguish between someone dropping off a package and not entering versus someone opening the door. But fundamentally there is still no way to automate locking and unlocking the door. Any ideas on how to manage this situation. The best I can think of is some type of key in a box with automation on the box.

Can you put up a link or a picture of what you're dealing with to help picture how the mechanism works.

I've seen these for the newer versions (2018+)

Maybe there's a retrofit kit available? :thinking:
