I just updated to the lates update

Lost control of the Govee Application, and all my Hue lights. On a c8 all was working prior until the update.
Any suggestions.
Is the Govee integration app just gone or is it not working. If you can get into it and turn on logging i can review it and see if it is getting errors.
Maybe try one more reboot with the advamced option to rebuild the database incase there is some corruption somewhere.
If the apps are gone you could always restore from backup as well.
I am getting errors and I have done a rebuild on the inter gration got a new API and still not working, I will try a reboot. And a rebuild as well.
Ok so those error message really mean two things.
- Your API Key isn't valid for the device making the call.
- A device is stuck in cloud pending.
The cloud error saying it is in a retry state can be reset by clicking on initialize for the device. That will reset that flag and then should allow you to make calls to the cloud. But the other error may prevent that.
You really should almost never need to request a new API key. That may have caused some of this issue. Can you check the device in question in the logs and see if they got the new API Key when you update the app. Just verify they are the same. If not i will look into that. Are you running the latest release of the Govee Integration?
I loaded v2 of the integration use the API Key New one,. Got it all working again. No idea what hung up but it seams to be fixed I will delete the v1 as soon as i know it good. Thanks.
Once you request a new API Key the old key is automatically deactivated.....
