Just saw this on Reddit this morning. Tried it out and it works fine. This is a long-awaited update to Alexa functionality.

Nice going to have to play with it for other things. Just checked, doesn't work on thermostats. I like a blast of cool air for a few minutes at bed time.

Only works for on/off.

Should work with the Peanut plug momentary contact driver and your garage door hack. Nice find.
