I've tried to figure this out for a year now. Anyone able to get Alexa to work with their system in recent months? I have tried everything I can think of, any tips or issues to fix?
Short version is that you add the skill to Alexa and it creates the link back to HE.

I literally use it daily and I use it at two different locations. I have a C8 at each, but I will say when the most recent update for the hub came out my alexa integration stopped working. I reverted back to previous build and all was good. I'm using 2.3.9.177
That isn't nearly enough to go off of.
Can you give specific things you tried, errors in the logs, or what steps are failing?

Echoing what @neonturbo said. When I read "Alexa Never Has Worked", I was thinking along the lines that she refused to till the garden, or wouldn't wash the dishes.
Tell us:
- What you are trying to accomplish
- The steps you took so that you think it should accomplish that
- What you expected to happen
- What happened instead
