Evening, started using echo shows and home kit. Thought by having devices with he grouped into rooms that they would pull through into Alexa and Apple within the groups. Sadly they don’t seem to I have to then manually reassign them all again into a room. Does anyone have a way round this? Thanks!
There is currently no way around this. Rooms are local to each hub independently. Not sure if there is even a way for this to be synched…?
Ah that’s a shame would have made life much easier!
You can do it with virtual switches. Group everything on HE to a room, name the virtual switch to Living Room and then expose that switch to alexa/home kit. Assign that switch to a room there.

That’s a good work around for functionality. I was thinking more for time saving having to re group the devices manually on Alexa so it shows up correctly on the echo hub
