Alexa and purchase order history

I hope it’s ok to ask a non-hubitat question here in the lounge.

When I say “Alexa, what is my purchase history” it responds with the number of purchases in the last month and specific items from the most recent purchase. How do I stop that? I don’t really want any random person in my house asking that question and receiving the answer.

I’ve turned off all of the notifications I can find in the Alexa app, but I guess since my issue is not really a notification issue, but a response to a question, that didn’t help.

Any suggestions?

Turn off the mic?

I have one Amazon account for the house, and each Echo uses that. For Amazon purchases, I use my personal account. Alexa does not know anything about the personal account, and no purchases are made on the house account.

That’s a nice idea. BUT my wife likes listening to Amazon music and I think that’s only available with the prime account. I could be wrong.

Use family sharing to share the Prime to another account, I think you can have up to 3 adult accounts in a household. I have everything linked to my account, so yeah my purchases show up on there, but my wife makes most of the purchases on another account (using prime sharing). Her purchases do not show on the Alexa.

After the kids kept playing random things on MY apple music I switched the Apple account linked to Alexa over to a shared family account.

I had no idea that prime could be shared. Thank you.
