Alexa and Hubitat

Hello, I've been using my GEsmart outlets since I moved into my house and Alexa has always worked. I had smarthings years ago but migrated over to hubitat about 3-4 years ago. Just this week none of my outlets are working anymore. Alexa doesn't recognize them when I try and tell her to turn something on and off it does nothing. It says "device unresponsive" on the Alexa app. I tried deleting them from Alexa and adding them back but when I get to the portion where it ask for the hub, "hubitat" is not an option. Are Hubitat and Alexa not friends anymore?

You add devices to Alexa from habitat via the Amazon Echo Skill in HE. Once you install the app and add a device it will show up in the Alexa skill as a device. It is not discovered through the Alexa app.

If you have never done that then it sounds like you either have Zigbee plugs, with a Echo Plus device which can control them directly, or Wifi and are using a direct Amazon integration. If so then it has nothing to do with HE,

I've done that, I've used hubitat for years now. Hubitat isn't popping up

Perhaps try uninstalling the Hubitat skill in Alexa and re-linking your account. Once that is done adding a device never ask for a hub, so I am not sure what is gong on.

You add the device to the Amazon Echo skill in the HE app. Once you add it there, it's done. Its working for me and I have seen no one else post an issue about it not working.
