I know the AirPlay support is in Beta, and I've just been playing with it. It's not working well on my Insignia Fire TV. I was trying to control volume/mute, and those functions didn't work, they provided error messages:
java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "no device found" on line 100 (method volumeUp)
java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "no device found" on line 112 (method refresh)
java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "no device found" on line 79 (method mute)
The speak command did work.. sometimes. I got it to work once or twice, but then it would not work again until I re-paired the Fire TV in the app. After re-pairing I can get it to speak once, but never again.
Not really looking for a "fix" I just wanted to report this somewhere.
