Aeotec ZIgbee Range Extender ZI pairing issue

I've gone through every statement regarding Aeotec pairing in the community and all I found was to change "TYPE" to device. When I tried pairing it, it paired as an IKEA Tradfri Signal repeater. My Aeotec model is model ZGA001-A01. The connection status light is solid which the manufacturer states is paired. My question is, should I change the TYPE to DEVICE or leave it as IKea Tradfri and secondly, is it working as a repeater and how can I tell?

It should be fine either as Device or the Ikea option. The important thing is just that it's successfully joined to your mesh -- since all it does is repeat, it really doesn't matter what driver it has.

I guess it's ok. I left it as the IKEA listing and checked Zigbee details on Habitat and it's listed so I guess it's working.

My ZI's paired as Nue Zigbee Scene Controllers, I changed them to Device and they work fine but the logs still show as Nue Zigbee Scene Controllers for some reason.
