I have a lock 110 feet from the hub. How many repeaters can I attempt to configure in series to reach the lock
I have like 10 repeaters .. all plugin lamp stuff.
I really don't think it matters how many. just if you can get to the lock.
Are you referring to a z-wave mesh or a zigbee mesh?
I'm using z-wave. I don't understand why a repeater would just talk to 3 locks and nothing else. What's the use of talking strictly to the locks without a path to the hub.
Z-wave meshes can have, I think, up to four repeaters in between the hub and your end device.
But you can’t force a device to take a specific route.
