I have an Aeotec nano that is attached to a switch so that if a door is closed it turns on, but if the door is open it turns off. However in Hubitat, I want it to report it as open or closed instead of on or off. Is that possible?
An easy way would be to create a virtual contact sensor and a rule that sets the status based on the switch action. You'd then use the virtual device in your other rules.
edit: Using "custom actions" in your switch rule you can set open/close to a virtual contact sensor.
