Aeotec Home Energy Meter Gen5 - deviceTypeId

My son gave me a Aeotec by Aeon Labs ZW095 ZW095-A Home Energy Meter Gen5 for Xmas with only a little not so subtle of prompting (email with links of stuff I wanted after he asked). I've been fiddling around with it trying to get it to work monitoring the whole house power usage. Let's just say that my success to date hasn't been steller. One of the things I just did was exclude the meter from my production Hubitat and include it on one I've setup for testing. One odd thing I noted was the deviceTypeId changed from 13 to 176 on the second hub. While I can see values like nodeId and deviceId changing, should the deviceTypeId change? If so, where does the deviceTypeId data come from?

Bill

Maybe you included it secure and then unsecure? Mine is 258

Both hubs are set to secure join only locks and garage doors. I also didn't double-tap the button on the energy meter which is how you secure join it. But thanks for the suggestion.

I'm betting that that like some of the other ID values the deviceTypeId is dynamically assigned.
