Holy crap. You've got the 800 LR version!
I've had an old one for a few years now.
It's been kicking out a power reading every 5 seconds all that time.
I had some problems initially, as shown in the following thread.
I wound up editing the driver a tad.
And on this thread, CT orientation as well as the power supply plug source (leg) is important, to avoid negative numbers, lol:
My memory is hazy on the whole subject.
I do remember trying to understand all the parameters, and giving up.
