True, but typically disposables have a higher voltage than the rechargeable version. I'm not sure about 123a. but for AA it's 1.5 vs 1.2 usually

2 of my sensors seem slow to turn on the lights, strangely these are the USB powered ones. The other battery sensor works great.

Does this device support associations using the hubitat driver??
Association is perceived as being a pre-hub tool for automating. A hub has overtaken that niche by allowing many more "associations" and associations across protocol.
As a result, association isn't implemented in Hubitat. @ericm has produced a general tool for adding association, with emphasis towards his Inovelli gear.
Yeah, the association tool works with Inovelli devices, but any driver can have support added to it. I think for just quick association options the Z-Wave tweaker would be a good option. I think it has been ported to Hubitat.
tweeker hasn't, there's a lot of SmartThings specifics there that prevent a port. However, Mike created a Basic ZWave Tool.
It does a similar function and probably could be extended to include Association(s). But hasn't been... yet.
Direct device to device Z wave associations could be a nightmare for support, hence our tool not having an interface to write them.
Nothing preventing someone from updating their installed version for their own use.
