Aeon Door Window Sensor Gen 2

Anyone had any look with these? The default zwave contact sensor doesn't work. It's detected as a water sensor OOB.

In case its helpful to anyone: after changing the batteries it "worked" with the water sensor device handler. Closed = Dry; Wet = Open. So I have used it in rules and mapped to a virtual contact sensor.

I'd imagine it would be an easy one to add official working support for @Hubitat

I have this sensors and it is stuck on open?? Anyone have the Aeon Open/closed gen2 Sensor working?

... it appeared to have been flooding my network with events causing me all sorts of issues so ended up just replacing it with a different sensor from a different manufacturer ..
