Adding new devices to Alexa from Hubitat

I think I have the answer but hoping to see for an easier solution. Set up one switch and all is fine. To add a second to Alexa, it seems that I have to disable the skill and restart the entire process to add new devices. That is to add the Hubitat skill, log in, and repeat the entire process. I am missing something here. Was just hoping to simple add devices that I already added to Hubitat.

Much simpler method. Just go into your Hub’s web page, open the Apps section, then click on the Amazon Echo Skill App. Within the App, add the additional devices you want, and then click DONE.

Your Alexa should detect the new device almost instantly. If it doesn’t show up, ask Alexa to “Discover Devices.”

Can I add that I needed to "Discover Scene" in Alexa to have it discover scenes created by Group and Scenes.

Is there any way to have the Alexa skill app automatically add all new devices so I don't have to access the app settings screen every time I add a new device?

No. You have to give permission in Hubitat to let Alexa see these devices. That is a good thing.

Most users probably don't want every device automatically added to Alexa. Things like virtual devices, and even some physical devices aren't always desirable to be exposed to Alexa. I have some spare "test" devices for example that would be clutter at best in Alexa. Or what if you don't want to expose your door lock to the outside world or something.

This isn't like most hubs where you add a device, and whether you like it or not it is out there for everyone to see.
