I may have put this in the wrong forum, but, here goes: is there any further word on when Matter devices can be added to the Devices roster directly?
Do you mean commissioning a device directly from Hubitat? You can do this already, but you need the mobile app since it requires Bluetooth, and the hub alone cannot do that (I suppose there are browser APIs for this that would technically make it possible some day -- just wouldn't count on that being tomorrow, and you'd probably use a mobile device for that, anyway). I'd still suggest commissioning it with another controller first, as most others let you manage what Fabrics it's paired to, something you can't do with Hubitat at the moment (e.g., if you want to put it in pairing mode again after the fact to add it somewhere else, too) -- and these you can pair directly from Devices in the hub admin UI.
