I'm trying to use RM to add a NFC tag to open my garage door. I'm using Tag Tool pro and it not working correctly.

I don't know of Tag Tool but I use tags with WebCore for my garage and this implementation.
Maybe some clues about.
Are you on Android or IOS? You can setup NFC tags in IOS with simple automations no need for a third party app.. The IOS automation opens a URl which is a endpoint trigger in HE. I use a NFC tag for my front door. We don't come in the front door that often and the door has glass inserts so putting a lock with a keypad was not an option, not enough room. I have a Kwickset conversion lock that goes over the deadbolt on the inside. I touch the phone to the NFC tag on the door and it locks or unlocks it.

What type/brand tags do you use? I set up something similar and always had trouble getting my iPhone to read the tag.
Just some cheap tags on Amazon, I bought them back in 2022. The link isn't available anymore. The bag they are in says DECEKI - NTAG215.
I stuck one on the front door. Its been on there a couple years now and still works fine. I also have one inside my truck that I can tap the phone and if I get home in 20 minutes it will open my garage.
I never use that one anymore. My old garage door controller stopped working with the remote and it would not let you setup a new one. So I would use the tag to open the door, but I have since replaced the opener and I have a working remote so I just push the button when I get home.
