Active/Pending subscription preventing admin change

I have a c8 updated platform and trying to add a new admin. I went into hub details to add the admin and I am prevented from doing so because it says I have an active subscription (grayed out where you put email). I have already transferred the subscription to another hub and then later just canceled it but all it says is pending subscription and that I am unable to add admin with a active subscription. I have sold this hub with my house and transferring it over is necessary. This is a large deployment of a hubitat system. Any help would be appreciated!
