Been using these new dashboards for a bit and I'm wondering if there's a way to allow access to a dashboard without requiring the login username and password for a hub with "Hub Login Security" turned on?
I have a couple of devices which I'd like to have password-free access to some dashboards, which do simple things like controlling a couple of smartplugs or light switches and showing temperatures. With the Maker API it's easy to use an access token, but I can't see a way to do this for the dashboard.
I have noticed that it's possible to do this with the cloud dashboard link, but I'd prefer to keep the whole thing local.
Any clues?
You could use the cloud link instead of local one, for now at least.
I'll add it to the enhancements list.

Top stuff, thank you for adding it!
Will this also fix the login required for Easy Dashboard when using the (new) mobile app (i.e. EZ dashboard requiring login)
This has been bothering me a LOT.... Every time I try to access an EZ Dashboard on the mobile app, it asks me to authenticate against, while it does not do that for old dashboards.
Update: The latest updated does not fix that it asks me to login every single time I open the EZ Dashboard in the app.
Yeah I noticed this and was going to report it, I will just pile on here.
I think it is only due to the hub login security I have enabled.
When trying to open EZ Dash from the mobile app it always asks me to log in, very annoying.

Any feedback from @Hubitat_Staff on this ? Will it ever be possible to use EZ Dashboards from the mobile app without having to login with username and password every single time on a hub that has security enabled ? Otherwise I'll just revert back to using old dashboards, but I'ld like to know, as I like EZ Dashboards, but they are not worth having to login every time.
I'm not sure what the "cloud link" is, I'm using the mobile app to access the dashboards.
You have a response from staff already:
If you do not know what a cloud link is , it is what is offered with the cloud icon next to the dashboard name in the list on your hub, but it won't help you with the app when you're at home (just when you're using a browser--remember that you do not need the app to access dashboards at all).

My question is specifically with the app. I don't use the browser except from the computer, precisely because it doesn't work when I am not on my home network.
The old dashboards with the app work just fine regardless of where I am, but the EZ Dashboards require me to login every single time.
There is no "cloud icon next to the dashboard name in the list on my hub":
Correct. I am saying that this is on the list to be worked on, as I linked to above. I was simply stating that the workaround I provided above is only applicable outside the app (though the underlying issue affects non-cloud links no matter how they are accessed, app or not).
You need to use the cloud links, mentioned above, for this to work away from home. Grab it from the cloud icon on the "Dashboards" page from the admin UI:
