I also have the same request - please can we get the sunrise/sunset function available from a driver?
My use case is a weather driver: it has a variable for a weather icon (clear/cloudy/etc), which I'd like to be able to set differently for day (sun) & night (moon).
Just discovered we can access location.sunrise and location.sunset in a driver - no need for the function
