A WLED User or Built-In App

Has anyone incorporated WLED (Addressable LED software) in Hubitat?
If Yes, can you point me to how they made it happen?

My guess is the address creation and communication would need to be done in a physical device (similar to the Fibaro RGBW but with the addresses not PWM). I say this because the communication between the LED's and the physical driver are continuous and would flood the radio with commands.

If you were up for building one I have some suggestions.

There is a Wled driver already made

Aircoookie WLED integration to HE

Bored Thanksgiving morning, so that someday would be today Add device manually, set device type to WLED, set the URI base in preferences (eg. http://[wled_ip].) Basic functionality is implemented making JSON API calls. Should be able to use it like any other RGBW light. Will eventually add effects/pallete function.

Old thread but I’d just seen a post that Inovelli are soon releasing addressable LED strips and will have a zigbee or Zwave controller.
Looking forward to see what that looks like!
