i had the problem where i paired the thing with my hub but it the would go into pairing mode again. i solved this by removing the battery as soon as i apired it before it could go into pairing mode again. then i just reinserted the battery after a short while and it worked. hopefully this will help someone:)
It seems to be a recurring issue with the recent dimmer units. I got 5 of them today for different areas of my house and all of them did the same.
Another issue I am having is with buttons 2 and 3 when held. The command doesn't seem to be sent correctly.
I have a V1 and a V2 (bought a while ago) which work perfectly, including buttons 2 and 3.
I will be doing some more tests tomorrow.
Thank you, I was hitting my head to the wall with this, worked perfectly.
Thats how i did it glad to hear it worked
Yah, I am ditching all my classic light switches and migrating to Zigbee ones, and I relay liked the Philips HUE V1 and V2 remotes, as they give you the ability to take them down, like a remote ( yah I will have 8 of them, I have to label each one otherwise.... ).
Worked! Thanks, i was almost gonna throw it out!
As a sidenote, it connected just fine directly to hue bridge all the time.
