4 Device Control

Here is what my application is.
Single gang decora 4 button switch that I can control 4 different devices.
The only way I can figure out how to do this is with a 433Mhz transmitter that activates a 4 relay
zigbee or other wifi device that when the HE sees the toggle will trigger the toggle of another device. In previous home control days (X10) they offered a in wall single gang keypad that was able to control either 4 or 8 devices. Since I DA all my X10 stuff I have been trying to be able to do this. I have done it but its ugly. (4 sonoff 433Mhz/ Tasmota relays) and they are close so it works. The other devices are all over the house. Not sure this explains this the correct way.

It’s not obvious what you’re trying to do. You can use any supported 4 button Z Wave or Zigbee control on its own. Hubitats built in rule apps such as Rule Machine and Button Controller can then be configured to do whatever you want when each button is tapped, double tapped, held etc. Someone will be able to advise which 4 button Zigbee/Z Wave devices are known to work. A quick Amazon search (I'm in the UK):

Not sure whether that particular one has a driver available.

I saw those and you can stick those anywhere . What I am looking for will fit in a single switch box (US) or be usable in a multi gang electrical box accommodating a decora format..

What about the Zen32 or the Zen37.

Or you can always go down the Lutron rabbit hole and buy a Lutron Pro hub and use Picos like many of us do.

You lot in the US have it easy as there's so much kit available to you that we don't have here in the UK - No Zooz, no Lutron. Well - Zooz is available on Amazon UK but they're selling it in the US 900MHz frequency - so not much use!

Not only that, but apparently you can order Zooz devices with UK frequency direct from their web store, based in the US, with orders shipped from their New Jersey warehouse.

I’m not sure what the point of all that is…

I've just messaged the UK seller to ask whether it is the US versions they're selling or just that they've cut and paste the specs into their product details. Some items are specifically shown as UK/EU and in others there's no mention other than in the small print of the spec.

Response from the Amazon UK seller:

"Hello John, Thank you for your question. Jut to clarify all my products are compatible for use in the EU/UK with a frequency of 868.42 MHz in compliance with EU/UK regulations. Is just error in the listing. Thanks for letting me know I will correct that issue. Best Regards Daniel INTEKK LTD"

So it looks like we can get Zooz here after all...

I would recommend these as well. They are inexpensive, native protocol like Z-wave, and have great support by both Hubitat, the Hubitat community and Zooz alike.

The other recommendation, with a much larger initial cost. The buttons are terrific, the battery lasts nearly forever, and they can be mounted anywhere even without a switch box. They are great way to allow a device have a remote like on a tabletop (with the Pico stand), or where there previously wasn't a wall switch.

The Pico buttons (and all Caseta devices) requires a Lutron Pro Bridge2, which is in the $130-150 range. However the Pico buttons are relatively inexpensive, at about $20.

If you have lots of buttons, this cost can be spread out, and the bridge will "pay for itself" after 10 or so buttons compared to other solutions.

I posted that in another thread.
I don't get it.

That ZOOZ SCENE CONTROLLER may work for me.
If you interested this is what I had in a variety of locations in the house.

All that stuff lasted 20+ years and if it was still viable I would use it.

Minsoton and Zooz both make a version of this wall-mountable remote.

The Zooz "scene controller" is also good.
