Where do I find the app build number? I am on the beta, and all I see from the App settings is Version 1.0.2 and Build 1.

Where do I set Dark Mode?
Thanks.
edit: When I went to TestFlight I got Version 2.1.1 (390)

Someone else pointed out this issue and that is being removed from there in the next version, as it is not correct.
In the app itself go to More (hamburger) > App Settings
Version info is there.
Thanks.
That's still easier to find than TestFlight, as mentioned above.
Where is the dark mode setting, please?
I think it follows your iOS setting. So if you set the whole phone to dark mode it should follow.
Or you can set the phone for automatic dark mode based on the time of day.
Search the ios settings app for "dark" and it will take you there.
I did that already, but as I recall, some screens are still obnoxiously bright when viewed, say, in bed in a totally dark room.
Here's a screenshot.
Perhaps it can be set in the (new to me) Safari browser, since it seems to go to the browser.
Screenshot below:
Yeah that page is basically outside of the apps control. Not sure how it works exactly, but I think the Hub web UI would need to be able to have dynamic dark mode. Not sure if they have added that to it yet or not.
What if you just go to the web UI from the browser directly while in dark mode?
Same thing.
I've set phone to Dark mode but it doesn't seem to translate to the Hubitat page.
There is no dark mode in Safari app settings.
edit: I'm sticking with Safari. Trying to immerse myself in AppleWorld.
You can add the Dark Reader extension to safari and configure it to automatically render web pages with a dark-ish mode when the phone is in dark mode.
I say “ish” because some websites don’t handle it well, although for most it works just fine.
Interestingly, same behavior on my Windows laptop with Firefox browser on dark mode.
If it's dark, and you've been viewing a Dark Mode screen, and then go to a Light Mode, it's quite harsh on the eyes.
I use Dark Reader with desktop browsers too.
The windows app Auto Dark Mode is great for automatically switching Windows themes from light to dark based on time of day.
Dark Reader can then be configured to turn on when the windows theme switches to dark.
I also really hate bright screens after sunset, but don’t always love dark mode during the day for all things.
