I have 2 Ecobee thermostats. The actual operating state of the one thermostat shows on both. If I check in devices at the status of ThermostatOperatingState when the one thermostat goes into heating the variable changes on both of the Ecobee Thermostat devices. All the other variables appear to be correctly different between the two thermostats. I am a newby with Hubitat but if I understand correctly the Ecobee integration is a Hubitat app not one created by the community. Yet I have sent multiple messages to support@hubitata.com over the past 3 months and got no responses to any of my messages. Tell me: am I going about this wrong? Where should I be posting to get this issue solved?
I have Gocontrol thermostat so I'm not sure if this pertains to Ecobee. Just wanted you to know Habitat has its own Thermostat app which works great. You can set schedules etc. One note, i believe you would need to have two Hubitat thermostat apps, one for each thermostat. When you open the app, it will ask which thermostat you want to use with that app. Don't get too down on Support. They get overwhelmed. I always search old threads first then ask the community for help, They all are fantastic and more than willing to help. Check the community with their different categories. If nothing fits your issue, post in the Lounge area. Good luck!
Unfortunate that there is no response to this issue. Just e-mailed support@hubitat.com as well. Definitely appears to be a Hubitat issue and not an Ecobee issue and is likely a quick/easy fix. Any chance you received a response?
