Changing the « Region » setting from « US …» to « US-LR …» works, but the drop-down still displays « US … » after the change.
As can be seen on the screenshot above, the region is set to « US … » but there is a LR device paired to the hub.

I noticed that before I included any devices, I could change z-wave. After device inclusion I no longer could. C8pro. You only have one device so far. See what happens if you exclude it then try to change the z-wave.
Tried that - unfortunately, it remains the same - « US… », no LR.
I'm good on my C8-Pro and C8:
C7 also shows as you do, non-LR, and also resists changing to LR. on .172 as well...
Yea, it seems to be a C-7 issue…
C8-Pro and C8 are both on JS, C7 is on Zip.
Maybe it’s a Zip issue as well… Hmmm…
I was hoping it would be a Canadian issue.

Lol - That would be way too easy!
From the Hubitat Documentation:
Interesting… It could very well be related. I do recall it wasn’t initially supported, but seem to also recall that that support was later added. So could be a documentation issue…? @bertabcd1234 - thoughts?
The documentation is correct; LR mode does not work on C-7 or earlier models.
Interesting… So maybe an issue with Smart Start? Using Smart Start on my C-7 only worked when I switched to the LR radio…
But anyway, no worries! I am doing some testing, so will try to force it not to use LR with Smart Start or switch to another hub.
That's interesting! Legacy Z-Wave on the C-7 (and the newer model, maybe?), I assume? The QR code should prefer LR by default if supported by the device, but AFAIK, the hub is supposed to resort to traditional inclusion if it doesn't. I'd be curious if you manually edit the type (the mobile app lets you do this; Jeff's custom app makes it a bit easier after the fact) if that has any effect. Probably shouldn't work that way, but might help figure out if that's it! (I don't think these have any effect on JS.)
Good idea - Jeff’s app! I’ll give that a go! Can’t currently edit with the Mobile app unfortunately…
Had forgotten this...thanks for the reminder. PEBKAC all over again.
@jtp10181’s app allowed me to see and edit the setting. They were set for Mesh. However, the device is not installing for some reason… I’ll likely try a power-off/restart to see if it helps. But will soon switch to another hub since I’ve been spending a bit too much time on this…
