Curious if anyone else can confirm similar experience...
When I change a switch/light device to a custom icon, that device then always shows as being "on" -- i.e., it has the green background regardless of its actual on/off state.
Is that expected behavior?
Is it possible to go back to the default/system icon if we change our mind? Or is restoring a backup the only way to do that?

Also, is it possible to select the same icon used by the system?
I have combined sensors that have temperature, humidity and water. For these devices, the default system icon is water, and I would like to set the icon to the same thermometer that is used by the system for other temperature only devices.
Looking for a way to go back to the default also. Once I selected a custom icon I am limited to keeping it or selecting another custom icon.

Can we also select the default icons from the pulldown list? I like the Fan default icon but i dont see a way to select it for the switch devices that control fans.
would need two custom icons .. one for on and one for off.. etc.
That seems like it makes the custom icon not very useful (trying to be nice...). At least change green/grey/red, but as suggested before, one icon for on (closed), one for off (open) would be best...
