2.2.7.119 update broke the Hubitat Dashboard

I can no longer access my dashboards. I am using the Hubitat C-5 version and when I click on the dashboard link, it does not react. I did not find any way of setting up a debug so I could grab a log for the devs here, but I think it may be a new bug.

I can however, access the dashboard directly through the Hubitat Dashboard app and going through there.

I have tried removing the dashboards (I've been meaning to remake them anyway) and recreate them. This did not work, I then removed the APP itself and tried again thinking it would refresh the code, it did not.

If there is anything that I can try before doing a Rollback of the update, let me know and I will do my best to do it ASAP with results.

EDIT It seems that my browser, Firefox 88 was blocking the mixed content. It was blocking the pop up because the linked dashboard. I accessed the hub on HTTPS which I think may be the original cause, but accessing it over standard http resolves the issue. I am not using the remote access service so I cannot predict what it would do if you are using that via https but this happened only after this update.

The message I have is below from my browser's console:

Blocked loading mixed active content “http://192.168.1.171/apps/api/442/dashboard/443?access_token=f056ae89-3f8b-42be-be5e-9161590e9f78”

I ended up making a permanent exception to the https protection built into Firefox for mixed content for the Hubitat itself.

For me, I don't even have the Dashboard link any longer on the web UI. Seems to be fine on Android

Did it get moved, am I missing something?

Yes, we removed it from that left side menu. You can still access Dashboards from the Apps list, or from the mobile app.

I am still showing it

Did you upgrade to 2.2.7. If so, browser cache...

Thanks Bruce for the reminder that a link is available in the Apps > Dashboard section

I wouldn't have voted to remove it from the main list but hey, at least it's still there in the UI

Yes, I am on 2.2.7.119 and I just tried on a device that has never accessed the hub and it is still there. I am still on a C4 hub, if that makes a difference.

Seems kind of inconvenient to reach the dashboards now needs a lot more clicks. Much prefer it being left in the list to be honest.

yes it is broken all my cloud dashboard links no longer work.. this is no good. i am using chrome.. i just get this "no response from hub"

adding a mised content exception does not work in chrome.. the cloud dashbaords are broken and this needs to be fixed.. reverting firmwares

also clearing browser cache does not fix the issue in chrome..

does not work in edge either and cloud dashboards also do not work direct from the dashboard page..

in the attached image clicking on either cloud link results in the same error both legacy and new cloud links are not working

Might be something unique to your hub. I'm not experiencing this issue. Connectivity issues to the cloud?

are you actually using the cloud direct dashboard links.. not through the hub.. ie
https://cloud.hubitat.com etc

no .. connectivity is fine.. unless they added some new weird port requirements that were not in place previously

.. the tesla integation worked fine.. accessing the cloud as did email.. as soon as i restored 2.2.6.140 cloud links started working again.

if it is specific to my hub i guess i should get it replaced under the warranty.. but i have a feeling it is not or else why would restoring 2.2.6 fix it? There must be some changes regarding the cloud uri that were not documented in the release notes?

Yeah I’m not sure, possibly something unique to your configuration? I’ve been on 2.2.7 since the beta and didn’t experience any issues with the dashboards and given the lack of widespread reporting of an issue my first guess would not be an undocumented change.

I don’t doubt your issue, I just don’t know what the cause would be.

you are right. i updated my other hub.. worked fine and cloud dashboards work fine..

so i redid the hub that was acting up with no cloud dashboards after the update.. it worked fine and now works.. only thing i can think is after restoring the older firmware i also restored a backup just to be safe..

really weird that now it works fine

I sure the reason why the dashboard link on the main UI page was removed was due to real-estate and with the addition of rooms.... something had to give

Just my $0.02
With the addition of collapse/expand of sections like dev code, logs... there is room now for dashboards

I don't use a tablet at all, seldom us the app on my phone, I am on the computer all day so the UI Dashboards are used a lot more.

Is there any way to make the main UI panel user configurable as to what shows/is hidden? Such as, I don't use rooms and at this time, see no need for it but sure miss the dashboards

Heck, I'd even suggest removing settings from the main UI page in favor of having dashboards. At least settings is 1 click away by navigating to the entry screen via the HE logo at the top of the main panel

Pretty please, add the dashboard link back

I second this proposal, I have no use for the new "rooms" however use dashboards everyday and would prefer dashboards to stay on the main UI.

I liked it better under the previous company model as "nothing comes pre-installed" on your hub, users can decide what apps to install. I "installed" dashboards I won't be "installing" rooms.

Do you have dashboards app installed but menu item on the left is missing?

Yes, dashboard is installed, 6 different dashboards. The removal of the Dashboard link in the Main UI is what's missing. Navigating into apps > Dashboard > Select dashboard > Select the local link is just not convenient

It's a bug which apparently doesn't manifest very often. Hotfix is coming.

2.2.7.122 is out, please check it out if you had dashboard issues in earlier 2.2.7 iterations.
