What custom drivers are you running? Could it be that one of those is pounding on your hub? That's what we are seeing in your logs. Please disable your Coway Airmega device, and see if Scenes work correctly? It appears to be the culprit in this.
That's a simple presence detector driver written by Joel Wetzel elsewhere in this forum. It's well tested and a lot of people use it. One member uses a modified version which polls on wifi four times per second. He has no issues at all at least that he's reported. I've PMed you with some more info…
In your case it is spamming your hub with errors, and there is no way to tell if anything else works or not.
Actually, I don't know which device is spamming your hub. But clearly one of them is.
Ugh. Simple question — how can I see that same level of error that you sent in the screenshot? Then I can dig around on my own enabling/disabling things until it clears. That would help me expedite the process on this tremendously.
You can't. This is a low level error being thrown in the telnet stack. As we run into these we surface them to Logs, and that will happen at some point in the future for this particular error.
One has to be very cautious using 3rd party drivers that talk to the LAN. There are some out there that end up spamming the hub. We aren't actively monitoring them, and User Beware should be top of mind when using any of them.
Count me as a big +1 for this feature request. Knowing what trouble I'm shooting helps a lot.
As a feature request, would it be possible to expose some sort of a metric indicating when such spamming is occurring? That might help us determine which device is doing the spamming. I have a couple of LAN devices that are really useful (Litter Robot and Sure Flap Pet Door), but they are at the top of the devices and apps stats (from fairly low-frequency polling), and they were both ported by the same experienced, reputable, community developer (Dominic Meglio). Even though the total % of apps & drivers is only 15% or so, it would be useful to know if spamming is occurring.
