Won't complete. Just sits there stuck initializing.

Is working now, after about 2 dozen attempts. Something is not right in the zwave inclusion process in the latest version.
I am also having the same issue. My leviton switch stopped working on December 30, 2018 and I just noticed it. I removed it with zwave exclusion and tried to add it back. It sees it but it never adds. It is stuck initializing. I've tried several times to add it. Any body have a fix or do I continuously try to add it.

I'm having the same problem with an Enerwave ZWN-BPC motion detector. I also had it with a KwikSet Deadbolt lock.
The pair just fine on my VeraPlus but I'm trying to migrate AWAY from Vera...
It's not supposed to be this painful, is it??
Any resolution to this? I'm having this problem with my Kwikset Z-Wave locks as well. Stuck at Initializing.. I've even moved the hub to almost directly on top of it and still having the same problem.
I've been having this problem happen a lot. With many zwave devices.
My solution is to
Exclude the device,
Reboot the Hubitat,
Try including again.
Sometimes I have to do this several times. It's NOT supposed to be this hard and it wasn't this hard with my VeraPlus.
It looks to me like something is wonky in the zwave pairing process.

Thanks.. That's strange. I'm having no problems at all except with my Kwikset locks and only certain ones.
I'm having the same "stuck on initializing" for my Z-wave Dome motion sensor. At first it was found and worked, but only within 10 feet of the hub. Had to restore a back up that didn't have the Dome device, so had to rediscover it. Tried everything everyone else has mentioned. After umteen tries it finally found the device, but again got stuck on initializing. I'm ready to chuck the Dome for a Zigbee device.
I'm brand new to Hubitat, just started using it in the last two days.. I am slowing transferring over my devices from my Smartthings hub and was running Into the same issue.. I stumbled upon this thread looking for help, and tried a couple of the suggestions to no avail... But then by pure accident I found something that works for me... I've done it several times now when I encounter this issue, and it works every time.. Have no idea if it will work for you as well, but thought I would share...
What works for me is when it gets stuck on initializing, I pull the batteries from the device I'm trying to add, then quickly put them back in.. For whatever reason it works.. At least for me.. Give it a shot and see if it works for you as well.. Good luck!

The latest hub firmware is 2.2.0.128. you probably should update. You can do that via the "Settings" tab.
and if the firmware update doesn't work, I would try the following. I occasionally have had a similar issue with some devices, reboot the hub (again in settings) and try again after the hub comes back online.
You also should perform a Zwave repair after a group (maybe 5-10) devices. Let things settle a bit before and after adding devices. Doing too much at a time doesn't allow the hub time to "sort it out" so to say.
