I'd like to repolace outside garage door opener with a fingerprint scanner button. Any on the market? I've looked but no joy...

I haven't ever seen such a device, but I wouldn't be surprised if it perhaps exists somewhere like AliExpress... But in that case, I would be exceedingly suspicious of the integrity/quality/robustness of the fingerprint-scanner technology.

If you know a bit of linux, a raspberry w/ a fingerprint scanner to control your opener through maker API… in theory should work.
