Zwave devices not working, but are reporting correctly

I noticed some automations no longer working at my house. I decided to load up hubitat and attempt to manually turn on and off lights. They were not working. I took a little closer look and found a few things.

  1. hubitat is correctly showing the status of zwave devices. If the light is on and I manually turn it off at the switch, hubitat will show the new status as off. If I look at the event tab, it will show the event.

  2. If I click the On button for a zwave device like a zooz light switch, nothing happens. If I look at the event tab, it doesn't show anything.

  3. Most of my zwave decides are zooz light switches. I tried a few other non-zooz devices andnit is the same issue: nothing works.

  4. zigbee devices work properly.

I'm a little at a loss. Ive rebooted a few times. Ive checked for updates. I don't know what to do next. Any ideas?

Hub version 2.3.4.130.

1st check your z-wave setting on the setting page and see if on that page there is a update firmware button. (Different from hub firmware)

2nd did you change your driver over manually after it joined or did it select the correct one? (At the bottom of the device page.

If the above looks to be the correct driver make sure all the parameter settings on the same page below the buttons (if there are any) are filled in. Hit save.

3rd try hitting the configure button on the device page.

4th post a full screen shot of all your z-wave details from the 1st step.

Thank you! There was a firmware update. Just odd they stopped working after almost 2 years. Did the hub update break/change things that required a firmware update?

not that I know off but then that update came out ages ago from silicon labs and fixed LOADS of z-wave issues. Especially if yours was 2 years without one, so there could have been a conflict which wouldn't have been known. From the sounds of it though your get a big improvement as there have been 2 updates the 1st one was a while ago but was a big fix the 2nd was smaller.
