I have a ZSE40 multi sensor and when I make changes it's taking over 24 hours for the change to sync. Pressing the Z-wave button, as the manual says to do, doesn't help either. Anyone know of any other tricks for this?
The button should do this on any generation from what I recall, though there are a few different hardware and firmware combinations out there, and it's possible it's different on some. If you enable debug logging, do you see anything in Logs when the sensor wakes up? Most drivers should do something, likely logging a WakeUpNotification command or similar, though it technically is up to the driver (as well as what it does in response, though for battery powered devices, that normally includes sending any pending changes--which it sounds like is working if it does it when the device wakes on its own).
