Zooz ZSE40 4 in 1 sensor

Is there a community driver for the zooz 4 in one sensor that would allow to update faster then 3 minutes? I’m trying to get my exhaust fan to react faster then it is. Hubitat allows for percent change reports but it doesn’t actually report the percent change for 3 minutes. If it’s not the driver but a firmware issue then let me know. I would just like to get this sensor to report faster. 3 minutes in the shower is a half my shower time and the fan hasn’t turned on yet. Can someone help with my issue. Thanks

You could use the Basic Z-Wave Tool to make sure that any parameters you're interested in as documented in the manual are set to the desired values, but that should be what your device preferences do, too (not sure if Hubitat's driver exposes every possible option for all of them, though they generally do expose anything useful). But if you're interested in humidity, it looks like the manual says you can configure it to report on anywhere from a 1% to 50% change. This shouldn't be dependent on time, just amount of change, but it's possible the device has an internal time limit to prevent spamming reports or draining battery. Since I don't see any configuration for that, it's probably not something a driver could do.

The other thing you'll want to be sure of with battery powered Z-Wave devices is that they actually received your configuration. For many Hubitat drivers, you'll see in the logs (if you keep "Logs" open when you do "Save Preferences" or "Configure") whether your device needs to be woken up, often even how to do so (if the driver author was particularly nice), and when it happens (or at least you'll finally see a slew of "setting name is XYZ" entries, again depending on the driver). Note that "wake up" is a specific concept for battery-powered Z-Wave devices and is not the same as sending a motion, lux, temperature, or humidity report to the hub, so just because you got one of those doesn't mean it "woke up" in this sense. The manual says you can press the Z-Wave button (the pinhole on the bottom of the device) once to wake it up, so doing that around the same time you hit "Save Preferences" should help ensure this happens ASAP; otherwise it should also be fine after (at most) the default wakeup interval of 12 hours, according to the manual, has passed without you doing anything extra.

When I had my Zooz 4 in1, that was as fast as it would go. There is nothing you can do about it.
