I have two zen27 dimmers, that won't update status on first interaction after some period of inactivity. They only update status when turned on second time and then continue to report properly. Then next day, no report on first turn on again.
I am sure they were working fine originally. I think that I started to have that issue after one of resent firmware updates.
Any one else having same issue?
@mike.maxwell any idea?
I only have one of these switches. I haven't noticed this issue. I'll go through my logs and see if I see anything.
I switched to Inovelli driver and both dimmers seems report status properly now.
That's strange as I wasn't able to find anything wrong in my logs... I'll have a chance to manually trigger/play with this weekend. I'll respond if I find anything different
The only thing I can see in my log, that if you physically turn on/off dimmer. fist turn on will be missing from the log.
Which driver was it using before you switched to inovelli?
Built in driver for z-wave smart dimmer.
Okay so all my weekday, first turn on events are controlled by RM. I had a chance this morning to try it physically and both the log and and the driver status captured the On status. So I haven't been able to reproduce it.
Post from the past that I'm refreshing.
I'm also having this problem where my Zen27 status isn't updating overnight. It keeps my light on overnight it seems like.
Using motion lighting on this switch, also tied into modes for dimmer level and length of motion per mode.
recently adjusted to using the zen27 User Device Driver, hopefully it works.
