Zooz zen27 broken down paddle exclusion

I have a Zooz Zen27 dimmer with a broken down paddle. I want to replace it but I can’t exclude it because exclusion requires clicking the down paddle 3 times. What is the best method to replace this device?

You can buy replacement paddles on the smartest home. I had one that broke and was able to fix it with the replacement paddle.

It’s the switch under the paddle that no longer works

You should still be able to remove it..

Remove power to the device..

Click on the node on the Z-Wave Details page a few times, until it shows pending..

Click on the node

If on Zipgateway, it may take more tries than 1..
