ZOOZ ZEN17 not triggering scenes

I have a version 1.0 of the ZEN17 that I'm using to monitor states of my HVAC system. I have the S1 and C also the S2 and C inputs wired to the coils of relays in the system. One relay is energized to start the compressor for the AC/Heat pump. The other relay is energized to engage the oil burner.
The states of these inputs (right now I only see the compressor changing to on or off - not using heat at all) reflect the state of the relays they are connected to. I've created rules to respond to changes on and off of the states. The rules do seem to be triggered. But the actions do not occur. If I run the actions of the rules manually I get the expected results.
I originally configured the ZEN17 S1 and S2 inputs as 7:contact sensor. That didn't work. I currently have them configured as 10:Dry Contact/Switch inputs. I didn't see a setting that seemed to go when using them as 12-24VAC inputs. I don't have anything connected to the ZEN17 relay outputs.
Here are the devices. I have the relays disabled:

These are the current settings in the driver:

Here's a rule:

The Compressor state is triggering apps:

Change the trigger to just be switch On, not physical On. Its a different option in the drop down, you might have to delete that trigger and make a new one.

In order for Physical On to work the "Type" in the events history would need to say "physical", this is used for things like wall switches to determine if someone touched the switch or if it was activated remotely.

OK - made that change and I think the problem is resolved. I can see that a different handler is called when the rule is triggered.
