Zooz Switches LED Indicator

I have several Zooz switches configured with physical control disabled which are used to control smart LED bulb.

When a switch is physically pressed, the LED indicator turns off or on along with the light dimming to 100% or 0% respectively.

When I dim the smart light to 0%, the indicator light remains off at the switch, Has anyone found a workaround for this? If I turn the switch off digitally, this physically breaks the circuit leaving me with uncontrollable smart lights.

I think I run my zooz switches with physical AND digital control disabled - so it sends events, but never turns the relay off. This way I can send on/off as usual, and the indicator led changes accordingly. Will double-check the setting when I get home

Confirmed, "smart bulb" setting is "physical and z-wave control disabled"
