Zooz switch drivers

Hello,

I have a few Zooz switches on my C7 (upgraded to 2.2.4.153). Having a problem setting parameter 1 on my Zen23 on/off toggle switch.

This should map to the “manual control enabled” setting, but changing that and saving the parameters does not change any of the state variables.

Logs show where I try to change the setting but the device reports back no change in the variable. Any way to determine if this is a problem in HE or on the Zooz switch?

Hello, welcome to Hubitat.

I am not sure I can help, but I think we need a couple more pieces of information to know what is going on.

First off, could you tell us what driver (device type) this switch is using? Go to settings, select this device, and scroll part way down the page.

How/what are you doing to set this parameter?

And I think the last question in this series, what firmware is the Zooz on? Again, the device's settings page will show that, this time at the bottom of the page.

Hi there, thanks for the reply.

I’m using the built-in Zooz Central Scene Switch driver, and on the device page I’m trying to use the Preferences UI to change the Z-wave device parameters (looks like these are what is mapped).

I ended up messing around with the basic Z-wave tool and was able to use that to set the parameters I wanted, including new ones in the most recent firmware that don’t appear represented in the built-in Zen24 driver (doubleTap param 14 value 1 if I remember right)
