Hi I have been using zooz z wave 4 in 1 sensors for a long time and they work great. Recently, one of them ran out of battery but the battery status got stuck at 1% despite putting new batteries. Interestingly, temperature, motion, and humidity still work great. Does any one have any solution?
Known issue, few people have seen this before, myself included. There is a thread from probably 5-6 months ago about this. Not sure if anything can be done about it...
Probably an exclusion, factory reset and repairing will take care of it
Haha. That is the solution I try to avoid. But it is probably the only solution. Will try today and keep you posted
I think if you do a factory reset in the device then do a replace instead you won't have to fudge with removal from Hubitat
I had a similar situation recently. I don't think I tried the documented wake-up procedure (Press and release the Z-Wave button once to wake the device up. The LED indicator will flash once (blue or orange)) to see if it would work. Instead, I hit configure and refresh on the device page. When I checked the next day, the battery was updated. Not scientific but it worked.
I seem to recall recently seeing that a fix to this Zooz 4-in-1 battery reporting issue might be included in 2.2.9…. @bcopeland, am I remembering properly, or just making things up…?
Ha.. Not yet.. But I saw this thread today and was going to take a peek at the driver before beta is complete..
I tried your method and somehow it worked. Thank you very much. @RichCNJ
