Hi. could anyone help please, I've got a one button Zigbee SOS button, it shows up on my c-5 hub but it will not do anything, when I added the button the device name and the Type was (Generic Zigbee Motion Sensor (no temp), I've changed the Type to a few different drivers, I installed a Zemismart Zigbee Button Remote driver and that didn't work, is there a driver for that button, Thanks.
The Button details:
model: TS0215A
driver: v1.0.0.1025
manufacturer: _TZ3000_4fsgukof
This is a relatively new device on the market, seems like currently there is just one other home automation platform (different than Tuya) that supports it.
I am waiting to receive a similar button, so hopefully, in 2 weeks we will know more.
When changing the assigned driver, did you first “save device”, and then click the “configure” button (at the top of the page)?
That second step is usually necessary to get the new driver assignment working with a device.
You can also check if logging is enabled for the device. If not, turn it on and keep a browser tab open to the hub’s live logs page. That can provide additional info re: whether any of the drivers you’re trying out are getting somewhere as you push the button to test it out.
But as @kkossev said, if it’s a new device then it is possible it won’t work with any of the built-in drivers. It looks like a pretty simple device though, is it supposed to do more than just push/hold?
Hi, Thank you both for your help, I have only just seen your messages, I am pleased to say that I have got my SOS button working, I have got a driver from this site, the driver is called: Nedis 4 button FOB by namespace Diondp. Thank you again, Tim
