Zigbee sensor statuses unknown in Apple Home after not opening Hubitat app for over a week

I have a variety of devices connected to my Hubitat C8 Pro hub but in particular notice some issues with my Third Reality Zigbee climate sensors going idle after not opening the Hubitat app for over a week. As soon as I open the Hubitat app the sensors refresh and remain active until the next time they go idle for the same reason. Anyone else run into this issue? If so, have you found any solutions? I would also love a way to auto install software updates but that seems to be impossible. Thanks in advance!

What do you mean with "going idle"? (For example, where are you looking and what are you seeing to come to this conclusion?)

Opening the Hubitat app doesn't affect device behavior; you don't even need it to use the platform. So, more information like this would be helpful to figure out what's going on for you and how to address that issue.

Do you mean hub platform updates, like Settings > Check for Updates? There is intentionally no built-in way to automate this process, as it is recommended that you read the release notes (every once in a while there's a a change you might need to know about for one reason or another) and back up your hub before doing so. The former, at least, can't be automated.

WHOOPS, left out a major detail. Sorry! The idle/unknown statuses I mention are in Apple Home. It seems to only be Zigbee devices coming through from the Hubitat bridge that stop updating automatically in Apple Home after about a week. I remember my Zigbee water valve controller also having similar issues over the summer. Sometimes I want to build automations in Apple Home so it can be frustrating when they don’t work because of this issue.
