I've been looking for a reliable presence sensor of years, this might be the one.
My apologies if there is already a discussion, I couldn't find it.
Just one that I started that doesn't contain any details. It doesn't seem that there are many details available yet

ahh, you used sensing... I tried a bunch of keywords.. just not that one.
They are being coy about it. The ZigBee consortium or whatever they call themselves are doing the work. It must be something about how a big flesh-bag (human) causes signals to change, indicating a human is in the room.
I look eagerly forward to this feature. It also shows how easy it it to spy on people and track their movements.
On the video on the original thread there is a very quick and short section that says the devices have to placed in certain configurations around the room. Based on that it has me wondering just how effective it will be for the masses.
