Zigbee Pan ID : shows blank

Hub: C-7, Firmware: 2.3.2.141
I'm not sure how it happened, but Pan Id has been "knocked out":
What do I do?

I can't change the zigbee channel, disabling and then enabling doesn't do any good.

Why did it go to blank?

Have you tried an orderly shutdown of the hub, then remove power at the wall outlet, wait 10 seconds, and then power the hub back up?

I have powered down, and I'm waiting another 15 minutes before plugging it back into power.

This should NOT have happened.
I've seen posts from 2 years ago that the PAN ID was changed unbeknowest to the user, but I haven't seen a post where the pan id was "blanked out".

This is an indication that the zigbee radio is either off or unreachable.

Well, it's come back again, with a valid pan id.

It's a good thing that "this isn't my first rodeo".
In other words if I were a new HE user, I would be quite upset.
Since I'm not a new user, I'm just going to plow right on. However, I will keep a wary eye on that Zigbee settings page. If this event repeats itself, I'm going to have to do more investigations as to the cause.
Who knows? Could have been a neighbour's wifi, the microwave, an errant device, etc., etc.
As long as it doesn't happen again, I'm ok with unexplained things. After all, we live in an era of uncertainty.

Just happened to me also, a week ago. I had to re-pair like 45 of my 60+ devices, but mine came back with a new PAN ID, same firmware level. Mike has said no zigbee changes lately on 2.3.2.141

I believe him (@mike.maxwell ) when he says that.
It means that this "flaw" has existed for a while.
Since it is such a major issue, in my humble opinion, it should be dealt with, or otherwise mitigated.
