Hey all, so I bought a Hue Hub and am working on transferring my zigbee bulbs to it. My question is: if I name my bulbs the exact same thing on the Hue Hub, will they carry over to the apps automatically? Last night I move 1 bulb over and it took me about 20 minutes to remove it from all the apps and then reinstall it on the apps. It would be super nice if that didnât have to be so complicated as I have a ton of lights, groups, and scenes. Thanks, in advance, for your advice.
No, Hubitat will see them as different devices, regardless of name, as determined by an internal-ish Hubitat-assigned ID. You'll have to swap tjem out in all your apps. But I do think the Bridge is a good idea.
