Got my brand spanking new C8Pro to replace my C8, but restore of a cloud backup failed with an unknown error.
Zigbee radio remained: "INITIALISING".
I next factory reset the hub, got the "welcome to your Hubitat" screen, withour registering went to the zigbee page, and agan: INITIALISING
Tried zigbee disabled > remove power for 60 seconds > power it again > INITIALISING
No matter what I do it remains in INITIALISING status.
I got a C8 with a bad Zigbee Radio. It would work for days or a week, but then it would lock up and just sit at INITIALIZING until I rebooted. The warranty hub fixed the issue, so I would say stuck on INITIALIZING is a sign of a bad radio.
Looks like it was delayed because the MAC address submitted may be incorrect. Can you send me the MAC address of the hub with problems in a private message?
We’re currently coordinating with @Ultrasmart.pl to ship your replacement unit from Poland. As mentioned in our private message, we recommend avoiding another migration attempt. The issue occurred during the migration—something in your existing setup caused the radio to go offline and remain unresponsive. Attempting to migrate again on the replacement unit may likely lead to the same outcome.
As mentioned in our private message, I'm willing to send you my current bricked unit, but got no responce.
Seeing it is unclear to Hubitat inc what in the C8 to C8Pro migration caused this blicking, I suspect you would need this unit to investigate the cause before you see more of these issue's with other new C8Pro units.
