I have paired a Sonoff S31 Zigbee smart plug with my hub. The device identifies as a Generic Zigbee Outlet and I can control the outlet without problems.
When I add the outlet into a rule action, I see every few minutes alternating messages showing up in the log "Zigbee Discovery Running" and "Zigbee Discovery Stopped". The rule functions as expected.
Do I have a defective device? I tried removing the device and pair it again, but that didn't solve the issue. I have a Third Reality temperature/humidity sensor connected over Zigbee and that device doesn't give any problems, so the Hubitat Zigbee radio seems to work fine.
I also tried to reboot the Hubitat, but that didn't solve it either. I'm running on platform version 2.3.4.120. What is wrong?
I have several of these outlets and haven't seen the 'discovery' messages. If the Enable descriptionText logging is selected they do report their state frequently.
Thanks for the info. I deleted the rule, removed the device once again, re-paired the device and recreated the rule from scratch. That seems to have solved the issue. I donโt see the messages anymore. Hope it stays like that!
