So I just changed the zigbee channel over to 24.
How long will it take for my iris v1 motion sensors to pickup and start working again?
Why did you change to 24? Numbers that high up on the range are usually less responsive. It is usually the case that folks have to change FROM 24.
It can take up to 24 hours for your devices to find the new channel although it usually happens faster. You can expedite the process by resetting the devices that haven't reconnected and then re-discovering them in HE settings. You don't have to delete them from HE, just do a device reset which usually involves holding in the reset button and inserting the battery (every device differs on this).

I setup my AP to do only channel 1,6 on 2.4. And allocated zigbee at the end of channel 11.
Many of us find Zigbee channel 20 to be very compatible with most all devices, and it avoids most WiFi issues. Many have found that higher numbered Zigbee channels are often not supported by older devices. YMMV, of course!
